This is my entry for the Teen Titans poster constest... I was going to do a wizard of Oz thing, but it didn't look right when I was designing the chracters. I might do it later for fun. I know, I know, the coloring in this is dull and bland and there's no way it'll win, but I'll try because it was fun to do! ^_^ Labyrinth is only my favoritest movie of all time! And I saww this design on the collector's edition DVD box and thought of Malchior and Raven. The bubble poses were taken from the actual show, which I have taped. ^_^ I <3 Spellbound!
Anyway... I messed up the quote at the bottom. It's suppossed to be "Where anything is possible and nothing is what it seems." But, oh well. I thought about putting "Through dangers untold and hardships unnumbered I have fought my way here... To take back my heart which you have stolen." 'cause I thought it'd be a cute alteration that would connect the two because then it'd be like Raven is going through the labyrinth to get back at malchior for breaking her heart. But that was too long so I thought "You have no power over me." Which would've been nice... And then I had the song running through my head where it goes "Your eyes can be so cruel, just as I can be so cruel." and then the song continued and I thought of "Though I do... live without your sunlight. Love without your hearbeat." And I don't know. I think it all connects very well. Might even make a nifty fan fic. Who knows? Sorry about how plain this is. I've never been good at coloring ^^() |

I can practically see a story born from this. An odd fantasy type. Of course, with large variations, as I cannot fathom to stain the original that is David Bowie .. But with Rorek's hair .. who knows, he just might pull it off.
If anything, Koriand'r(Starfire) would be a better choice for Sarah as she's most self-righteous, but I do love Raven

"Thirteen hours?" Raven stared at him in disbelief, "You are aware that I can fly, right?"
Rorek tsk'ed, a noise of amusement, as his eyes sparkled at her, ".. Are you, my dear Raven? Truly aware, that is."
She pursed her lips, subtly trying out her powers only to find she could do nothing at all. Raven gritted her teeth, "What have you done, Dragon-" She seethed, malice tainting her words, "This is no place for a child, he cannot stay here. Give Teether back." Her clenched hands began to slightly shake in fury.
A smirk, "Oh my, the woman is indeed livid. I suppose, the more passionate, the more chance you have of actually defeating my labyrinth." He turned his back on her, fading away slightly, "Thirteen hours, dear Raven, .. thirteen hours." Rorek glanced at her a last time, before vanishing, "It's harder than you think."
Fading laughter was all that remained of him as she stood there, astonished and absolutely furious that she had let a child come into play—and such a dangerous play indeed.
